DOD_V2 (Escort Gamemode) by ultranew_b

"Hey,

This was my 5th Dod:S map originally released on 07-13-2007. After the Orangebox upgrade, it got borked. This is the final version . It's based on Inkits escort gameplay mode (which was introduced in dod_flashtank). Basically, it's a combo det/cap map with a moving Sherman tank. The map also features a working mortar and retreating/advancing spawns.

Objectives:

Allied Soldiers : Escort the Sherman tank through the forest. Destroy all 3 road barricades by planting tnt charges
then capture the V2 rocket camp.


Axis Soldiers : Defend the 3 road barricades and prevent the Allied forces from capturing the V2 camp.

Changelog:

- increased cap time from 1 second to 10 seconds
- added cover in V2 cap area
- new 3rd barricade (gate and guardhouse)
- new V2 rocket model
- added ladder for axis only at the V2 rocket
- fixed problem with V2 ladder (V2_D3 version)
- decreased axis re-spawn time slightly
- decreased time gained by blowing objectives slightly
- spawns are all fixed
- added clips to axis spawn removing exploits
- added various clips as per bug testing reports
- changed tiger tank skin
- adjusted sherman tank move trigger radius. Allies can no longer move tank while standing in front of it.
- flipped allied tree guard house 180 degrees so allies can actually use it
- fixed mortar (was shooting in same spot everytime)
- new map overview (with objectives explained)
- updated map credits


Known Issues:

Due to a source engine glitch with movers. Occasionally players may get stuck under or beside tank if too close to it. Only way out is to kill player. Sorry, no known fix for this issue."
